The Stardust Curriculum
Our custom Stardust Curriculum was developed by our director with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education. Instead of following a one-size-fits-all program, our curriculum is built from real classroom experience and adapted to meet the needs of the children we serve. This approach allows us to provide a structured yet flexible learning experience that supports steady growth at every stage.
Purposeful Learning Through Play, Academics, and Exploration
Children at Bits of Stardust learn through a balanced approach that combines academic instruction, hands-on play, and guided exploration. As a play based learning daycare in Oklahoma City, we use engaging activities to teach real skills in literacy, math, science, and problem-solving.
Our classrooms introduce early reading and language development, number recognition, basic math concepts, and early science exploration. STEAM and STEM learning for preschoolers is incorporated through age-appropriate projects that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Learning is active, meaningful, and designed to help children understand how concepts connect to the world around them.
Preparing Children for Kindergarten and Beyond
Our kindergarten readiness program in Oklahoma City focuses on helping children feel confident and prepared for their next step in education. Pre-K students work on early reading, writing, and math skills while also learning how to follow routines, participate in group learning, and build independence.
By the time children leave Bits of Stardust, they are familiar with classroom expectations and ready to transition smoothly into kindergarten with the skills they need to succeed.
