Bits of Stardust Child Care Learning Center has been a trusted part of the southwest Oklahoma City community for more than two decades. Founded with a vision to create a safe, educational, and inclusive learning environment, the center began as a small program with a big mission — to provide dependable child care and meaningful early education for local families. Over the years, Bits of Stardust has grown thoughtfully alongside the families it serves, expanding to meet community needs while maintaining a strong focus on learning, inclusion, and family partnership. Our Story: Growing With Our Community
Growing to Meet Family Needs
As more families discovered Bits of Stardust, the center quickly outgrew its original space. In 2006, an additional 1,000 square feet was added, allowing enrollment to grow to 50 children. Later that same year, another 1,800 square feet was added to meet continued demand. These early expansions reflected the trust families placed in the center and the growing reputation for quality care and learning.

Expanding Our Learning Environment
In 2019, Bits of Stardust moved into a larger 12,000 square foot facility, allowing the center to serve up to 160 children.
This move created more space for classrooms, specialty learning areas, and age-appropriate environments. The expanded facility supported the center's growing educational programs while preserving the sense of familiarity families had come to trust. It marked an exciting new chapter rooted in long-term commitment to the community.

Today, Bits of Stardust Child Care Learning Center is a well-established, trusted learning environment serving families across southwest Oklahoma City.

Where Our Story Began
Bits of Stardust Child Care Learning Center began in 2005 as a small, 3,000 square foot center serving just 30 children. The goal from the very beginning was to create a safe, dependable, and educational environment for families who needed quality child care close to home.
What started small was built on strong values, hands-on learning, and genuine care for every child. These early years laid the foundation for the trusted learning center families know today.
2010
A Commitment to Educational Growth
By 2010, Bits of Stardust expanded once again, adding another 1,800 square feet and increasing capacity to serve over 100 children.
With this growth came an even stronger focus on early education, structure, and consistency. The center continued to refine its learning approach while maintaining the warm, family-oriented environment parents valued. Growth was never rushed—it was intentional and guided by quality.
2021
Supporting Families Through Uncertain Times
During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bits of Stardust remained open to support families who relied on consistent care.
While many centers closed their doors, the team continued showing up for children and parents during an uncertain time. This period reinforced the center's stability, dedication, and resilience. Families knew they could count on Bits of Stardust when it mattered most.
Education Comes First
At Bits of Stardust, we believe child care and education go hand in hand. Our learning-centered approach focuses on building strong academic foundations while nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Through our custom Stardust Curriculum, children are introduced to early literacy, math, STEM concepts, and social-emotional learning in a way that is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and meaningful.
